He is licensed in both New York and New Jersey, with a specialty license for Oral Conscious Sedation. He has advanced training in the areas of laser and cosmetic dentistry, smile design, and dental implants. Dr. Sonia Sood knew at a young age that she wanted to be a dentist. She is known for her meticulous nature and passion for comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Sood joined the Scarsdale Dental Group in 2017, where she strives to make dental visits a stress free experience with quality treatment that stands the test of time, and minimal discomfort to the patients undergoing the treatment.

Dr. Sonia Sood graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelors in Multidisciplinary Studies in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. She then continued her education at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and in 2016 was conferred a combined degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Sood completed her general practice residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center where she especially treasured working with veterans as patients. Dr. Sood in 2018 completed certification as a Invisalign provider for Scarsdale Dental Group and is rapidly gaining practical experience across various procedures.

Dr. Sood was raised on the South Shore of Long Island and moved to Westchester county in 2017. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming , traveling both domestically and internationally, and spending time with family and friends.

Luciana(Lucy) is a registered dental hygienist. She has been an asset to the Smile Center for 5 years. Originally from Brazil where Lucy practiced as a Dentist along with her mother and sister, coming from a long line of dentists in her family.

Lucy graduated from NYU as an honor student, achieving the golden scaler for clinical excellence.

Rosalie has been with the Smile & Implant Center of Rockland since 1999, first as a patient, then as an assistant, and now as a licensed dental hygienist. She has received her local anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide license and is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. You will experience first class treatment in a comfortable setting.
